What You’ll Do:

You’ll be responsible for building the MVP of our SaaS and Mobile App with the support of our technology partner. The platform will provide a way for autism parents to digitize their kids medical files visualize in an easy manner the education and intervention plan. You’ll report to the founder and work cross-functionally with operations and marketing/sales… If you’re a team player with a bias for action, an entrepreneur at heart, and you’re looking to build a product from the ground up, then this is the role for you. In this Role You Will:

  • Lead coding, architecture and design
  • Work closely with the technology partner to lead the development efforts
  • Implement database storage and management systems
  • Work with off-the-shelf APIs and/or platforms to implement video experiences
  • Participate in the active development of an evolving consumer-oriented product
  • Work quickly to launch the MVP

Who You Are:

  • You love to build things from scratch, have a get-things-done attitude, and can take full ownership over of a project with minimal oversight
  • You’re excited by the idea of actively coding on a daily basis
  • You have experience architecting products and features and understand how to build CDN architectures
  • You have experience with modern tech stacks like Go, React and Ruby on Rails
  • You’re a team player and someone who takes initiative
  • You’re a mission driven person
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science (a combination of experience and/or education deemed equivalent may be considered);
  • You have autonomy in the execution of projects
  • You’re bilingual (English / French).

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the voice of the company on all social platforms. Your goal is to deliver engaging content and drive traffic back to the website community page where you’ll also be responsible for managing the topics in the discussions forums. You’ll report to the founder and work closely with the editorial team to coordinate topics… If you love being active on social media, and actively advocate and participate in autism conversations then you would be a great fit. You must be part of the autistic community whether as an autistic individual or an autism parent.

In this Role You Will:

  • Develop and execute the social media strategy
  • Create content that targets both autism parents and service providers (practitioners)
  • Increase the reach, engagement, and drive leads and sign-ups across all social media channels
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Create graphics and illustrations for the daily posts and stories for the different social platforms
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Stay up to date on all news, conversations and topics related to autism
  • Initiate new discussions in the website forums and engage in conversations on social media to drive traffic back to the site

Who You Are:

  • You’re creative, social and full of ideas
  • You’re a team player and collaborative
  • You’re experienced in creating social media content (Graphic and video)
  • You’re experienced in posting on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
  • You’re familiar with Google Analytics, AdWords, paid Ads (Facebook, Insta..)
  • You’re comfortable using content management systems – WordPress, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Hootsuite (or similar) and Photoshop
  • You have a strong knowledge of content marketing trends, strategies, and best practices
  • A strong knowledge of social media trends
  • You’re Autistic or an Autism Parent
  • You’re bilingual (English/French) an asset

You’ll be responsible for building the Autimist Blog. The blog’s goal is to provide parents with autism parenting in a very simplified and positive way. We believe in positivity, informing and educating parents in a fun and comprehensive way. You’ll report to the founder and work cross-functionally with Community & Engagement Lead to promote your work and keep a consistent voice across channels… If the idea of building a blog from the ground up excites you, then this is the role for you. In this Role You Will:

  • Create well-researched, timely and informative articles with a focus on engaging conversation on issues on therapy, diagnosis, nutrition, activities and entertainment, parents’ health and the autistic culture… specifically to educate autism parents in a positive and uplifting way
  • Structure and simplify information, to match the reader’s level
  • Report to the Editor and collaborate with the Community & Engagement Lead to promote your work across social media platforms.

Who You Are:

  • You have amazing research skills and a love for the spectrum!

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be responsible for winning our first market (Québec) – in terms of achieving assigned sales targets. You have to maintain and enhance Autimist’s image with our current and potential customer base. He/she also pro-actively promotes company objectives, and executes sales plans based on the company’s marketing strategy. In this Role You Will:

  • Generate leads through researching the market and cultivating your personal network.
  • Maintain close contact with therapists, clinics, education centers and associations to identify and develop business leads through referrals.
  • Manage the entire sales process for all business leads.
  • Develop our public relations strategy – for the short and long term
  • Build relationships with reporters, podcasters, bloggers, and influencers to increase awareness about Autimist and its products

Who You Are:

  • You are from Québec and understand the market 
  • You have strong communication & social skills
  • You have experience (at least 2 years) in business developments, sales or public relations
  • You’re Autistic or an Autism Parent/sibling
